Just as all of the other reviews for Fringe Photography have stated, the entire experience working with Emily was absolutely amazing. Every step of the process was extremely thorough and professional; from the inquiry, to the booking, the photoshoot day, to the ordering of the final photos. There were never any issues communicating with Emily and from the very first response I received from her, I knew I had picked the best photographer to capture the most intimate photos I will ever have taken of myself.

From walking into the studio on the day of the photoshoot, I was once again re-assured that Emily was a top-notch boudoir photographer. WOW! This has been the best experience of my adult life! This has been such a great experience for me! My husband actually asked me to do this and I was really nervous. I am very self conscious about my body and after the photo session I felt 100% better about my body and the experience has brought me out of my shell! I turned 40 at the beginning of the year and it really brought me down, but after this, I have realized that I am confident with myself and age. I never thought I could look so beautiful. I would first like to thank Emily for making beautiful art with wife. I had asked my wife to do boudoir photo shoot for me and she was unsure of the event but decided to do it anyway. She is a mother of 4 and was insecure about her body. The morning of the session she was very nervous, had butterflies in her stomach and I expressed to her to have a great day and relax. When she returned she was full of smiles and just seemed to be happy. She was very excited to express the details of the photo shoot to me and told me it was such a great experience. Later that night she shown me just how confident she became. She kept telling me a few things about the shoot as the weeks went on. Then, the reveal came and she asked me to come to see the pictures. I am so glad I went with her to the reveal! The studio is very comfortable and Emily was very welcoming to both myself and my wife. As I was looking at the images, I was impressed by the poses and the work that was put into the art! Being able to see all the images performed by my wife made the experience even more erotic for myself. It was amazing to see the attitude and confidence of my wife from the first lingerie set all the way to the wet session. I thought it might be awkward sitting there looking at my wife's images with another woman, but Emily made it very enjoyable and exciting! Her personality is just perfect for these types of sessions. As the husband, I loved the more seductive poses and my favorite body parts exposed. I recently had my second boudoir photo shoot with Emily at Fringe Photography, and it was an incredible way to celebrate turning 40. After doing my first shoot a while back, I had high expectations going into this one, and Emily completely exceeded them.

Emily is absolutely amazing! This experience is truly transformative, and Emily is a masterful guide. She was SO much fun to be with all day! I 110% recommend her for your photoshoot. Emily is very down-to-earth and easy to talk to. She truly wants you to realize how beautiful you already are, and she literally seems to possess every tool in the toolbox to make you feel comfortable and worth it.
I visited her for a free consultation appointment. She took time to show me around and literally answer every single question I had.
She went above and beyond to ensure that I knew this would be a co-created art project, which had space to include my aesthetic vision, as well as hers.
At every step, especially for the photoshoot day, she made sure I was comfortable with every detail. Anything that was a "sort of", or with hesitation, she would gently offer to talk about how this was making me feel. If it's not an enthusiastic YES, then it's a no, and we find another thing that is. This was true for the make up, hair, outfits, poses, and sets.
I SO recommend for every woman. The costume closet has flattering outfits for everyone. Emily makes you feel extremely comfortable in the studio (she lets you pick the music, and will set the heat temperature to your comfort level).
The photo reveal day was an empowering event. Emily is a loving hostess and guide, a literal magician to help you view ~500 unedited images of yourself, feel totally comfortable, and somehow choose just 15 photos. :-)

I booked a surprise trip for my wife's 40th birthday and it hinged around a boudoir shoot with Emily. I wanted the shoot to be ON her actual 40th and Emily was able to make it happen...and it was amazing!

Because the shoot was a surprise for my wife, I worked directly with Emily for several weeks before. She helped me plan the day and everything was incredibly special from the moment we walked in! Emily made us feel welcome and ensured my wife felt comfortable throughout the day (the champagne probably helped a little too 😉). Emily's hair/makeup artist helped my wife to look and feel absolutely stunning and she was also a pleasure to work with.

Emily even let me be a fly on the wall (which isn't typical) so that my wife wouldn't feel like I abandoned her on her birthday. It was so great watching Emily (and my wife) work the studio. 😍

Emily's artistic eye is unique and it shows in all the hot poses she focuses on and the great use of subtle, classy props, natural light, and the beauty of her model. It was one thing to watch the photos being taken, but my mind was absolutely blown when we saw the actual photos. 🤤 Emily was even able to convince me to join for a few photos which was fun and, well, pretty hot.

I can't say enough great things about Emily, her studio, and the art she creates. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking to do a boudoir shoot! The plan is to be right back in her studio when my wife turns 50!

This was my second session with Emily and I couldn’t be happier with what we created together. Emily has a way of making you feel comfortable while also gently encouraging you to step outside of your comfort zone. And that overlap is where magic happens! My intention for this fitness-themed photo shoot was to capture my strength and flexibility and turn it into beautiful artwork. I loved that Emily was open to me bringing in my own inspo pics and she worked her craft to create these gorgeous renditions of me. My jaw hit the floor when I saw the results! I felt like a fitness model! This experience was really powerful for a mom in her 40s who works hard on herself and mostly keeps it hidden under regular clothes. Now I have these portraits that express and highlight everything that I’ve developed over years of hard work. I 1000% recommend doing this for yourself. Time will eventually change things but I will forever have this version of me celebrated in a gorgeous collection of images! 

This review is from my perspective of the session my wife had with Emily at Fringe Photography. I apologize for how long it is, but I believe Emily deserves to be recognized and definitely worth it. Your only regret will be if you don't have a boudoir session with Emily at Fringe Photography!

While searching for boudoir photography in the area I came across Fringe Photography. After looking at all the positive reviews, art/photography portfolio shown and detailed bio of herself and business (more of a passion I believe, but I'll get into that later) we found there was an "open house" coming up. We made the arrangements so my wife could go check it out and guys if you're able to go with your partner, I'd recommend it! I wasn't able to for the open house but when my wife came back, she had a boost of confidence and looked absolutely beautiful as they offer complimentary lipstick and eyelashes just for coming to the open house. That is when we knew it was time for a session with Emily! Now, I can't speak first hand for the actual session as it is a private, 1 on 1 session with Emily (and her professional hair/makeup stylist) and the female, in this case my wife. However, I can tell you that when she completed her session she was absolutely stunning 😍 and her confidence was through the roof! She had said her nervousness went away as soon as she walked in the door, was greeted with a warm, heart felt and EMPOWERING welcome. She was pampered the moment she walked in. From my understanding, the offerings Emily has available from the clothing closet, robe, slippers, hair/makeup stylist, drinks, etc is nothing short of spectacular for all women regardless of size as you're all beautiful and deserve to feel confident, comfortable and empowered! And that is exactly what you will feel when you have a session with Emily!

My wife has since continued to have more self confidence with her body and feels more comfortable and able to show and see the true beauty of herself! Thank you Emily!

Then came the Reveal day and I am glad I was able to attend the reveal. I cannot express how excited I was to see the art they had created! Upon entering the studio, I now got to see and FEEL the atmosphere Emily creates for her sessions and WOW ❤️‍🔥💥 There is a calm yet intimate, sensual, comfortable, confident and EMPOWERING feel. Very welcoming and felt at ease. Emily is an absolute amazing, wonderful, talented artist/photographer and genuine person. The photos that were revealed were stunning, absolutely beautiful 😍 showcasing nothing short of perfection. Emily takes hundreds of photos during the session and has an eye for detail, lighting, poses, angles, effects and I'm just blown away. It's definitely hard to narrow down what photos to get as they are all breathtakingly stunning. If you're hesitant because of your age, size, shape, flaws, etc DON'T BE. Emily knows how to showcase your true beauty inside and out and also brings out the confidence and comfort ❤️ My wife said it took her over 40 years to realize she is beautiful, all thanks to Emily for showing her!

During the reveal, Emily shows you a sample edit of a photo and the rest are all raw photos prior to any editing and they are spectacular. You can see Emily has a passion for her work and WOW it shows, truly talented. I'd also like to mention to the women, going in you may not like (or think you don't) certain shots or too revealing poses, but we found that those are some of the best photos we liked!

Guys, get involved with your woman and help them feel beautiful, comfortable, confident and empowered.

What an experience my photo shoot was! I was so wishy washy about getting my photos done. Our self saboteur is real good at talking us out of so much throughout our life. I am really grateful I chose not to listen to my self saboteur and scheduled a session. The minute I scheduled Emily made me feel beautiful, worthy, and at ease. That was just the beginning of this life changing experience. As soon as I opened the door to her beautiful studio and felt how welcoming she was my self doubt faded away instantly. What an amazing experience. Every woman should do a boudoir photoshoot to see how beautiful she is. I was hesitant and so nervous but so glad I went through with it. The studio is fabulous, and you feel sexy just being there. Emily is super fun to work with. I can't say enough great things about her. EPIC, Fierce, Empowering, and Transforming… these are just a few words to describe my experience at Fringe! All my fears, anxiety and expectation for what it was going to be like trusting a stranger; was put at rest the first time I talked to Emily! From her warm smile that welcomes you into her studio and willingness to listen to you 100 ideas you got off Pinterest; to her motivating and inspirational emails she will send you all along the way. It is truly like making a friend you have known forever and the day of your shoot you will feel like it’s a fun girl night out! As I left overwhelmed and exhausted from my session, I did some self reflection and imagined how these photos were going to turn out, which was also terrifying and exciting. The true frosting on the cake was when I picked up my kids from school and my youngest said, “Mom, why are you so pretty?” I knew then that she had captured something beautiful and amazing and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to have my eyes opened to the ability to see myself like others do! Definitely will be returning!! Blessed!!!

Adding on the hair and makeup package is a must. Janelle is so talented! When I looked in the mirror after she was done I cried! I never felt more beautiful.

Then the whole shoot I've never felt more comfortable in my skin. Emily knows how to work with your personality and is coaching you through the whole time. She was open to my suggestions, but her whole flow really captures everything! You feel so cared for and pampered on that day. Emily is amazing!!! She’s not only amazing at what she does but as a person too. From the minute I met her it was like we’ve known each other for years. She pays attention to every little detail so you don’t have to. I thought I would be extremely nervous for my session with Emily but as soon as I walked in the door it was like I was with friends. I was not nervous at all!!! I would also like to add that her makeup artist that she hires, Janelle, is just as amazing. These two ladies were a blast to work with during my session. They made me laugh so much and our day just flew by. We had so much fun that day. Emily does everything she can to make your experience a memorable one and I will surly remember mine.

I want to express my gratitude, joy, and pleasure in working with Emily in her studio and in creating these amazing photos with her! From the moment I met her during our consultation all the way through the photoshoot and the reveal of my photos, she has made me feel comfortable and beautiful. In one day, they made me feel like a fitness model, a Victoria's Secret model, a GODDESS. I am so glad I did this. I literally had to remind myself several times during my photo reveal that I was looking at ME! Holy smokes! That's ME?!?!?! I did NOT know I could look like that. As a mom who rarely dresses up, wears minimal makeup and certainly does not take photos of herself from all of these angles, I was blown away!

Emily made me feel 100% comfortable in my skin I only felt 60% comfortable in before. I felt heard in what my most uncomfortable areas were and by the end of the session was not thinking about them at all.

There is no bigger cheerleader than Emily! I told her I had BIG legs. Emily championed and cheered for my legs from minute one. After seeing the untouched pics, I realized my legs are pretty great and my hubby is a lucky guy!!

Her makeup artist/hairstylist is also so wonderful. Loved the whole day!! Glad I didn’t cancel!!

This was a very empowering experience for me.

After previously experiencing a full session with Emily,  I decided to come back for a mini “in the sheets” session. This experience was just as amazing as the first. I went even more out of my comfort zone this time around. I really enjoyed the idea of bare skin and red satin sheets. Red is typically not my color of choice. But after this experience and looking back at my images I am beyond happy I chose that color. This color paired so well with my fair skin. I could not be happier with my results! Emily is so talented when it comes to capturing beautiful, sensual images. 

This was an AMAZING experience, every woman deserves to do this for themselves. I'm a 50 year old woman and I feel age approaching and I wanted to capture myself at a time when I am finally feeling good about myself...most days...lol. Emily is a magician, she does some magic during the photo shoot. My reveal I literally cried at how gorgeous the pictures turned out and they were completely unedited. I've never been captured so beautifully and she nailed it on the very first photo taken! It was difficult to narrow down my selection but I couldn't be happier. If I could give 100 ⭐️'s, I would!

I went in with my girlfriend to help select some of the images for her boudoir book and Emily was amazing! Super knowledgeable and helped guide us through the selection process with a great mind for how things should be layed out. First off, I had no idea what my wife was getting me into. I had no idea what to expect. Immediately when I walked in the door I was greeted by Emily with a huge smile and she assured me that I had nothing to fear. Easier said than done! The studio was very professional and had lots of her art work displayed on the walls and it was amazing. As we got started, my nerves faded away and I went with with it. Emily was amazing and we worked out bugs together as this was her first couple shoot! Once I saw the pictures I was in absolute shock. The pictures looked absolutely amazing! Overall the whole experience was super fun and it brought my wife and I closer together than we’ve been in years!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!!! This is one of those experiences that will change your life on so many levels. Emily made me feel so comfortable from the very beginning. At the beginning of our session, Emily allowed me to connect my phone to her Bluetooth and play whatever music I wanted. This was a great way to begin unwinding and shaking off those nervous jitters. I enjoyed doing this photo shoot with my husband because I was able to focus on just him; and really tune into every single touch, kiss, slow, soft movement of our bodies together....then i forgot about anything else. Overall, this was an amazing experience that I highly recommend everyone to try at least once.

Emily, you are amazing at what you do and the art you create, my wife chose to do another session with you again ❤️ and you did not disappoint. Having done the classic boudoir photos prior, she was ready step out of the comfort zone and spice things up with more risqué or edgy photos. If you are hesitant about revealing yourself or worried how the photos will look, step out of that comfort zone and you will not be disappointed. My wife was worried about certain angles and poses thinking they wouldn't look good, but they turned out to be her favorite photos. Emily will guide you through the entire process and help with all the poses, she even has a large selection of lingerie, shoes, and jewelry in all sizes in her "client closet" for use if needed/wanted. If you take anything from this review, step out of your comfort zone and have fun. Your best photos will probably be ones you would never expect. Thank you again Emily for your amazing works of art.

Emily is AMAZING! She makes you feel confident and beautiful. The entire experience at her studio is wonderful.

Her makeup artist did a fabulous job of making you glam, but not over the top. It was perfect! Emily takes care of making you feel comfortable, and checks in on you throughout the whole photoshoot. She is great at making an environment where you feel safe. She has a way of bringing out your confidence. The photos she captured were absolutely stunning! It was so hard to narrow down which ones to keep. I highly recommend her for any of your boudoir needs.

I had the best experience with Emily! She was very welcoming from the moment I stepped foot in her studio. The makeup artist did an amazing job making me look and feel my absolute best! Emily was great with helping me find the best outfits from the clients closet. She did an amazing job with assisting me with the different poses and making me feel at ease during the entire process. I was so appreciative of her warm and positive attitude. This experience was so empowering! I encourage women to treat themselves to this experience, at least once, if not more. Your BIG day, nerves are high and once you settle in the studio to discuss the day’s plan they will lighten. They’ll especially lighten up as Janelle prepares your hair and face. She also is a gifted artist and DAMN does she transform you into a starlet. Truly, I looked like an A-lister and felt it! Nerves gone! Transformation complete and ready to conquer my day.

Wardrobe, no need to buy multiple new lingerie or shoes because she has it all! In every color. Unless you have your own favorites, bring ‘em.

The shoot begins. Emily guides you literally on how, what to do, with what and so the magic happens. Tip: Wet Session is a must!

Emily's studio is the most glamorous, professional and welcoming studio I have ever been in. The whole entire experience was like a dream come true and made me leave feeling confident, bold and sexy! I did this at first as an anniversary gift for my husband but found it to be a very rewarding and wonderful gift for myself along the way. I will never forget it, nor will I ever be the same. Emily made everything clear from the start: times, dates, what was going to happen, etc.

She took pictures from different angles, and nicely put up with various outfits I had brought along - even making suggestions as to which would make for better pictures.  I liked the whole experience and would recommend it to others, men or women.

Emily is fantastic! She made me feel so comfortable during the entire process and she has an unbelievable eye. She uses natural lighting and it makes for STUNNING results!! The studio is set up to easily change props and backdrops so you end up with a lot of variety in images. Highly recommend!
